How can I

use it?

How to use soak for bits
  • Spritz for Bits – Spray on the perineal area or alternatively spray onto a tissue and wipe the perineal area, or spray onto a clean maternity pad
  • Spritz For Bits - Can be used for C section scars but not on an open wound
  • Spritz For Bits - For extra relief, keep it in the fridge or pour a little into your bath
  • Soak For Bits - Add 2-3 handfuls of the salts into a warm but not hot bath. If you have had a C-section use once your dressing has been removed and wounds have healed
  • Soak For Bits - Spend some time relaxing and enjoying the aromas, we recommend a 10 minute soak, or longer for optimal results
  • Super Scar Recovery Oil - once wounds have healed try to massage your scar daily. Massage in a circular motion, pressing firmly enough to apply pressure but not so it is painful. Work your way around the scar slowly with a firm pressure. Keep on massaging using your fingers along and around the scar in both directions.
  • Super Scar Recovery Oil - C-section: First massage the skin gently around the scar with the oil. Place your fingertips lightly on the skin above the scar and see how mobile the skin is by moving it up and down and side-to-side.
  • Super Scar Recovery Oil: Episiotomy: You may want to have a warm bath or shower first as this can help you relax and soften the area. Find a time when you are unlikely to be disturbed and try relaxing on the bed or a comfy place where you have easy access to the scar area.
  • Prioritising 30 minutes a day for your recovery is a necessity not a luxury, talk to your partner or support network so they can help you to recover.

FAQs

Yes, you can use both Spriz for Bits and Soak for Bits if you have had a C-section. Spritz for Bits offers the same benefits for your caesarean scar as for your vulva and perineal/anal areas. The essential oils it contains can help to relieve itching, stinging and discomfort, and also to help moisturise C-section scars. For Soak for Bits make sure that your dressing has been removed and that your C-section wound is undergoing the normal healing process. Seek medical advice if you think your wound is becoming infected, feeling more sore as each day goes by, has redness spreading around the area, is oozing or smelling or you have any other concerns.

we have a number of delivery options depending on how quickly you would like to receive your order and where you need it to be sent.

All orders received by 2pm will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 2pm will be processed and dispatched the next working day.

Please note that our warehouse does not operate on weekends or bank holidays. All orders received after 2pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday, or the Tuesday of a bank holiday weekend.

Same day dispatch if ordered before 2pm Monday - Friday, £3.50 for all orders under £30

Orders must be placed before 1.30pm Monday – Thursday to be dispatched the same day for delivery the next working day (before 5pm). Orders placed after 1.30pm on a Friday will be dispatched on Monday.
