Caring for Your Newborn Workshop

Our workshop will take you from their first breath and the benefits of skin-to-skin contact for feeding, the microbiome and bonding, to what cues and clues your baby displays to indicate their needs in the early days. We also cover a range of practical tips including how to change nappies and different techniques to help your baby burp. 

We include safe sleeping and suggestions for settling baby. We explain what to look for in a nappy plus when and how to bath your baby. You will also learn the difference between what is ‘normal’ and what are signs of concern, who to contact and how to learn trust your instincts.

 This class is excluded from any discounts or offers. 


How does it work?

  • Our workshop is delivered live by one of our expert midwives.

  • This class is hosted virtually via Zoom - so you will need a laptop/iPad (with camera and microphone) and an internet connection. The week before your class starts you will be sent a Zoom link and password to access your class.

  • The class is 2 hours long and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

  • Our antenatal and postnatal classes are based on the latest evidence-based information, some of that information is only relevant to UK based maternity services and may not align with maternity services provided in other countries.

This class will cover formula feeding choices with how to responsively feed your baby, as well as teaching of all new-born baby cares.

All orders received by 2pm will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 2pm will be processed and dispatched the next working day.

Please note that our warehouse does not operate on weekends or bank holidays. All orders received after 2pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday, or the Tuesday of a bank holiday weekend.

Same day dispatch if ordered before 2pm Monday - Friday, £3.50 for all orders under £30

Orders must be placed before 1.30pm Monday – Thursday to be dispatched the same day for delivery the next working day (before 5pm). Orders placed after 1.30pm on a Friday will be dispatched on Monday.

International deliveries to some countries continue to face short delays, particularly where there are a lack of available transport links which may lengthen the normal delivery timescales.

International delivery is free on orders over £90.
