FAQs

Colostrum is the milk that your baby receives for the first few days after birth when you are breastfeeding. It is high in calories and full of antibodies to help develop your baby’s immune system. Colostrum harvesting and hand expressing are useful skills to learn during pregnancy as they can help you become familiar with your breasts and how they work, as well as helping to establish breastfeeding after your baby is born.
