Preparing for Labour part 2 e-book

Karen McEwen, Registered Midwife at My Expert Midwife helps you prepare for labour with our instantly accessible 30+page guide.

In our part 2 guide to preparing for labour and birth you will gain insight into how to adapt your environment at home and in hospital to help your labour and birth be a more comfortable and relaxing experience. Learn more about your baby’s journey through the pelvis and birth canal and which positions are best to help labour progress, as well as knowing what to expect if your birth needs more assistance via forceps, ventouse or caesarean section.

We will also cover how to birth your placenta, the benefits of delayed cord clamping for your baby as well as the ‘golden hour’ after the birth where you can understand more about skin-to-skin and the first breastfeed. Our e-book summarises key facts surrounding labour and birth, so you can look forward to yours feeling confident and knowing what to expect during this time.
