Massaging the serum around a c-section scar from 6 weeks post-birth can also promote the healing process below the skin and stimulate nerve-endings that may have been damaged during the surgery. 

Spritz for Bits is our hero multi award-winning perineal recovery product. Initially designed to help the fragile perineal skin recover from vaginal birth it contains Witch-Hazel, Teatree, and Lavender as well as Vitamin E. It is anti-fungal, antimicrobial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory and can be used on intact, broken, or sutured skin making it ideal for use even on a C-section wound once the dressing has been removed. Its high-grade essential oils all have a specific purpose and have been included in therapeutic doses to maintain skin integrity and cause no unnecessary discomfort. 

Our incredible high-grade Epsom Salts Soak for Bits & Body are a must-have for your postpartum recovery. Not only does the Frankincense ground and calm you, but the arnica also helps with bruising and inflammation particularly beneficial for the perineum, the magnesium eases muscle and joint pain, and combined with soaking in a warm bath you can really start to feel like you again. These salts are safe to use whether you have stitches or not and can be used following a C-section as soon as you feel safe getting into and out of the bath (always have a partner around for support).
