Sometimes awaiting the arrival of your baby can make you anxious or stressed, and this is more common during the end stages of pregnancy, during labour and the transition phase.
Our midwives understand that these feelings can be overwhelming, and so developed Labour Rollerball & Spritz for Labour.
This toolkit uses a blend of pure essential oils including frankincense and geranium which are known for their calming and grounding properties and neroli which can help to reduce stress levels in the body, so you feel more centred and in control. The spritz also contains orange oil to bring focussed energy and the rollerball contains relaxing sandalwood and grapefruit to bring mental focus. The massaging stick contains bergamot to soothe and relax body and mind.
To gain more knowledge on how aromatherapy can help you through labour we'll email you our downloadable pain relief guide when you order.
Yes, they are safe to use from the very start of your pregnancy and even after the birth
As often as needed.
Use the Marvellous Massaging stick for a relaxing self massage throughout pregnancy and labour or get your partner to help.
For maximum benefit apply the Labour Rollerball to the wrists, temples and pulse points. The aromatherapy oils are most effective when applied to your pulse points as this is where the blood flow is closest to your skin.
In the later stages of labour you might want to spray Spritz for Labour liberally in the air around you but if using for sleep a few sprays onto your pillow before bed should be enough.
We do not advise using the Labour Toolkit on your baby. Your baby’s skin is very sensitive and needs to adapt slowly to life in the outside world by using as few products on their skin as possible in the first few weeks.
