Dermatologically tested baby cream, Paediatrician approved, suitable for eczema prone skin + mildly fragranced with natural essential oils
It might sound weird but every time you put a baby in water it causes their skin to dry out. Scientists call this Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL). Our midwives developed Super Settle Moisture Milk to help replace this water loss.
Our Super Settle Moisture Milk has a mild fragrance because we made it with essential oils. Our blend combines the powers of moisture boosting argan, anti-inflammatory chamomile, tummy comforting mandarin along with soothing frankincense.
Massage slowly onto your baby's skin for the perfect ready for bed routine or anytime your baby has bloating, tummy discomfort, colic and reflux.
How can I use it?
Use after bathing with Super Settle Cleansing Wash to help keep your baby’s skin feeling soft and soothed.
After drying, gently massage all over your baby’s body.
FAQs
Is this suitable for my newborn baby?
Baby’s skin is much more delicate and sensitive than an adult so it is not recommended that you use products containing essential oils or any fragrance until they are 3 months old.
Is this suitable for eczema prone skin?
Yes, not only is it dermatologically tested and paediatrician approved it is also suitable for sensitive and eczema prone skin
What is skin-to-skin?
Skin-to-skin contact is when your skin and your baby’s skin are in direct contact. Skin-to-skin contact benefits both you and your baby, not just following the birth, but for weeks and months afterwards by:
• Promoting bonding and communication between you and your baby
• Regulating your baby’s temperature. Think of it like a thermostat – neither too hot nor too cold.
• Baby picks up your healthy skin flora to populate their own skin with good bacteria, which then helps to develop their gut microbiome
• Helps to calm and settle baby
Why is the moisture milk 99.5% natural and not 100% natural?
Any product which contains water must contain ingredients which make them safe and stable over time and in different temperature and light conditions. If these aren’t included bacteria could form. These are called preservatives. Only preservatives that undergo rigorous testing are considered safe for use in cosmetic products and currently none of these are natural. We have used the gentlest preservatives which are Ecocert approved.
